Role and Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of native Android app developmentโ€”from initial architecture and UI implementation to API integration, performance optimization, and Google Play Store deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin/Java code for Android applications.

  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define and ship new features.

  • Integrate app features with backend RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services.

  • Write unit and UI tests to ensure app stability, security, and performance across diverse Android devices and screen sizes.

  • Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, resolve memory leaks, and optimize responsiveness.

  • Publish updates to the Google Play Store and maintain compatibility with new Android OS releases.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: [X] years of hands-on experience developing and publishing native Android applications.

  • Core Tech: Strong proficiency in Kotlin (and/or Java) and deep familiarity with Android Studio and the Android SDK.

  • Architecture: Experience with modern architecture patterns like MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Jetpack components.

  • APIs & Asynchronous Data: Hands-on experience connecting to RESTful APIs (via Retrofit, OkHttp) and managing asynchronous tasks (Kotlin Coroutines, Flow).

  • Tools: Solid understanding of Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools.

  • Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail in UI implementation, and a collaborative spirit.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern, declarative UIs.

  • Experience with offline storage, local databases (e.g., Room), and caching mechanisms.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

    Requirements

    Degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent to the related discipline. You have 1-2 years of experience in Graphic Designing. Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes and visual designs for Mobile & Web Apps also attention on details.

    You have a passion for design and a positive attitude. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, also (Illustrator & Photoshop) will be plus. You have a great creativity, strong visual communication skills, and a portfolio of work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
